This morning I walked into the kitchen as usual, and my eye was attracted to a sack of potatoes. Cancer Potatoes. Breast Cancer Potatoes. Apparently cancer sells in the same way sex sells. Disgusting.
I don't even know what to say. That's a little insane. As good of a cause as it is, and as much as I like pink (not obsessively so, but it has its place in this world), I steadfastly refuse to buy anything that's breast-cancer pink because it just feels so pushy. There were even pink hoses in the gardening department of one my local big-box stores.

It is a little bizarre the way that pink ribbon shows up everywhere these days.

The pink ribbons that raise "awareness" drive me crazy. Cancer research needs MONEY to be raised not
awareness.
I bet they weren't thinking that well when they decided on that closetab for their apples. Strange...
Apples? Oh my.. This is not my morning at all!
