I recently saw a segment of the Rachel Maddow show suggesting that the Herman Cain campaign is an elaborate practical joke. Of course this immediately brought to mind the Pat Paulsen election campaign. The Rachel Maddow segment, with my apologies for the oddly placed Exxon ad:

It is so bizarre that Cain runs for President AND gets media attention. Great program and personally satisfying when Rachel M. devoted much of a program to an almost-academic analysis to Cain, the performance artist.
Yet right now C-span plays Chelsea Clinton "interviewing" her father on his new book. Speechless here.
